About Us

Senior Hope, Inc. is a non-intensive outpatient not-for-profit clinic licensed by New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.

Senior Hope was founded in 2002 by Dr. William Rockwood, a retired professor of biology at Russell Sage College, and his wife, Adrienne Rockwood, who served as vice president of Family and Children’s Services of the Capital Region.

To provide high quality, science based, compassionate and comprehensive services to mature members of our community, 50 years and older, and their families.

Recovery is a Journey

Senior Hope recognizes the importance of a supportive environment when individuals and families face addiction issues.

Our experienced staff understands the struggle and focuses on recovery through education and counseling with care and compassion.

This self-discovery process, encompassing the mind, body and the spirit, is aimed at restoring the persons self esteem, self worth and dignity.
